Week 1, 6/20/24, Bead Weaving project #331, Bead Vine Bracelet (or Necklace)


Materials Needed
About (20) 8mm. round (or bicone) beads
About 120 Size 8 seed beads
4 yds. Size D thread: Superlon, Fireline or Power Pro
Clasp set
G-S Hypo Cement
Beeswax (optional)
(2) #1 or #2 jump rings
Tools Needed
Sharp scissors or wire flush cutter
Chain-nose pliers
#10 beading needle

9-12 aprox. 8mm beads
1 small bead
About 6 ft. of 20- gauge wire
12-15 inches of chain
2” of chain with large enough links to fit the lobster clasp
1 Headpin
1 Lobster clasp
2 small, heavy jump rings
Materials Needed (for bracelet)
6 -8mm. beads
5 ft. of 20 or 22-gauge wire
Lobster clasp
5 -½ inch buttons with 2 or 4 holes
Tools Needed
2 Chain-nose pliers
Wire flush cutters
Round-nose pliers
Heavy cutters for chain
7mm. mandrel (such as size 11 knitting needle or large bailing pliers)
5mm. mandrel or 3mm/5mm bailing pliers

Large – 16 or 18 gauge with 5 or 6 mm. inside diameter
Small – 18 or 20 gauge with 3 or 4 mm. inside diameter

(35-50) 6mm round beads with holes large enough to fit on cord plus 4 on each side
(2) 4mm. or 6mm beads with holes large enough to fit on 2 strands of cord
