Week 1, 8/30/23, Crochet
Beginner: Basic Crochet stitches: Slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet – Single Crochet Purse
Advanced: Waffle Stitch
Tools & Materials: Medium/worsted weight yarn, size G, H, or I crochet hook

Week 2, 9/6/23, Crochet
Beginner: More Basic Crochet stitches: half double, double & triple crochet – Multi-Stitch Scarf, Crochet pattern reading, Adding a new yarn
Beginner Tools & Materials Needed: 2 skeins medium/worsted weight yarn, size G, H, or I crochet hook, or as called for on yarn package.
Advanced: Standard Granny Square
Advanced Tools & Materials Needed: 3 or more colors of medium weight yarn, H crochet hook

Week 3, 9/13/23: Crochet
Everyone: Susan’s Afghan Square, Basic crocheted hat in the round & Crocheted Beret (completed rounds vs. spiral)
Tools & Materials Needed: 3 or colors of medium weight/worsted weight yarn, size G, H, or I crochet hook, or as called for on yarn package.

Week 4, 9/20/23, Crochet
Everyone: Crocheted Rosettes, Flowers & Edging/Borders

Week 5, 9/27/23: Crochet
Everyone: Corner to corner stitch & using it to make graphed patterns
Tools & Materials Needed: Medium weight/worsted weight yarn, size G, H, or I crochet hook, or as called for on yarn package.

Week 6, 10/4/23, Crocheted Chain Necklace with wire
Tools & Materials Needed: Size G crochet hook or smaller, 28- or 30-gauge wire, asst. beads, pair of cones, clasp, 24-gauge wire

Week 7, 10/11/23, Sashiko Embroidery - Kit
Tools & Materials Needed: Sashiko thread or Embroidery thread, woven fabric, embroidery needle (all included in kit)

NOTE: I chose this kit because it includes everything needed to learn Sashiko. Other kits were cheaper but didn’t include needles or thread
