Collection: Chain Maille Projects

Chain Maille is an ancient craft that was originally used to make armor for warriors. It is created by painstakingly connecting individual jump rings into patterns called "weaves." Some weaves are very simple and others quite complicated. Many people love this meditative craft. I teach chain maille patterns invented in many different parts of the world, some of which are named after their geography. We find chain maille weaves called European 4-in-1, Japanese, and Persian, among many others.

These ancient weaves, along with many modern ones, can be used to make beautiful, intricate earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
